ISUZU D-MAX NAMED BEST ALL-TERRAIN WORKHORSE BY FLEET NEWS AWARDS 2023
The Isuzu D-Max has once again received the title of ‘Best All-Terrain Workhorse’ from the Fleet News Awards 2023, with the honour being handed over during the awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on March 15th.
Defending the title from 2022, the Isuzu D-Max excelled in the award category thanks to its exceptional reliability, as well as its jack-of-all-trades versatility and capability. Combining good on and off-road handling, as well as the impressive 1-tonne payload and 3.5-tonne towing capacity, the pick-up received praise for being an excellent fleet option, particularly when considering the reasonable cost and notable warranty. The award is one of 38 awards this year, each shining light on the various aspects of automotive fleet. The Fleet News Awards are the fleet industry's most prestigious and sought-after awards.
At the close of 2022, in a sector where overall sales were significantly down, Isuzu UK recorded a sales increase of 17.89% over 2021. Thanks to its critical acclaim, presales of the Multi-Award-Winning D-Max were very positive throughout 2021 and 2022, with 34% of the average sales mix for the pick-up consisting of the Business range model, despite the V-Cross remaining the brand’s best-seller.
